If you are involved in transformer (oil immersed) maintenance in your company, here is a list of common tests required to be done on oil immersed transformers according to IEC 60076-1 :

Routine Tests
Measurement of winding resistance
Measurement of voltage ratio and check of phase displacement
Measurement of short-circuit impedance and load loss
Measurement of no-load loss and current
Dielectric routine tests
Tests on on-load tap-changers, where appropriate

Special Tests
Dielectric special tests
Determination of capacitances windings-to-earth, and between windings
Determination of transient voltage transfer characteristics
Zero-sequence impedance(s) on three-phase transformers
Short-circuit withstand test
Determination of sound levels
Measurement of the harmonics of the no-load current
Measurement of the power taken by the fan and oil pump motors
Measurement of insulation resistance to earth of the windings, and/or measurement of dissipation factor (tan δ) of the insulation system capacitances

Type Tests
Temperature-rise test
Dielectric type tests
